Shipping policy
At Wimborne Pet Centre, we aim to make our delivery process as straightforward and transparent as possible. This page sets out how we handle and ship orders, including dispatch times, delivery choices, and important information about delivery estimates.
Where We Ship From
All orders are packed and dispatched from our UK-based warehouse. We currently deliver to addresses within the United Kingdom, unless stated otherwise.
Processing & Handling
We prepare orders for dispatch within 1 to 3 business days after your payment has been confirmed.
Business days run Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays and public holidays. If you place an order over the weekend or on a public holiday, processing will begin on the next working day.
Processing covers everything from order checks and packing through to final dispatch preparation.

Standard Delivery
Estimated transit time: 3 to 4 business days

Delivery Timeframes
All delivery estimates start from the day your parcel is dispatched, not from the date you placed the order. These are estimates only, and while we always aim to meet them, we cannot guarantee precise delivery dates. Delays can sometimes happen due to severe weather, courier disruptions, busy seasonal peaks, or other events beyond our control.
Shipping Confirmation
Once your order has been handed over to the courier, we may send you a confirmation email. If tracking information is available from the carrier, we will include those details.
Incorrect Address Details
Please make sure the shipping address you provide at checkout is accurate and complete. If an order is delayed, returned, or lost because of an incorrect address, we may be unable to offer a replacement or refund.
Delivery Problems
If your parcel doesn't arrive within the estimated window, appears to be delayed, or turns up damaged or with items missing, please contact us as soon as you can so we can put things right.
Lost or Delayed Shipments
When a parcel is significantly overdue or believed to be lost, we will work with the courier to investigate. How long resolution takes will depend on the carrier’s processes.
Busy Periods
During public holidays, major sales events, or other peak delivery seasons, handling and delivery times may be longer than usual.
